staff positions to support large scale casting efforts and the unique theatrical
production needs of multiple companies of Disney’s hit musicals
- Development of training initiatives for children and adults
to cultivate raw talent resourced through grass roots efforts; education of
candidates in performing arts skills and South African culture, with the ultimate
goal of contributing back to the talent pool
- Coordination of supervisory personnel to manage casting and
production efforts throughout Europe, Canada and the United States; ongoing
examination of how best to keep systems running effectively on five continents

- Collaborate closely with writers, directors, choreographers,
composers and lyricists on script development from inception through opening
night while working closely with producer/artistic director on the realization,
staging and maintenance of all productions
- Resource and recommend ideas for productions, as well as
scheduling and marketing to increase ticket sales and maximize commercial
value through all media
- Read and evaluate scripts, scores and proposals submitted
for production; attend readings, workshops and presentations on an ongoing
basis to consider material to be produced
- Initial and maintenance casting of all Broadway, Toronto,
national and international productions; recipient of two Artios Awards from
the Casting Society of America for Outstanding Achievement
- Casting of star talent to generate initial project interest
or rejuvenate ticket sales (e.g.: Donny Osmond in JOSEPH...; Vanessa Williams
in KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN; Diahann Carroll in SUNSET BOULEVARD; Paul Stanley
in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA; Stephanie Mills in RAGTIME; Eric Idle in SEUSSICAL;

- Communicate! Interface with the entertainment industry; build
relations in local theatrical communities; instill an overall creative atmosphere;
negotiate with unions, agents, actors, cast members and other industry personnel,
producing throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, England and the Far East

team about the best possible matches of creative personnel for projects in
